Industry Liaison Director Search

CEBC is currently searching for an accomplished industrial chemist or engineer as Industrial Liaison Director (ILD).

The ILD will lead the effort to identify and facilitate collaborations with chemical companies. This individual will be the voice of industry within the Center, working closely with CEBC’s leadership to shape the vision and long-range strategy for the center. He/she will also promote CEBC's R&D advances to industry, ensuring that promising technologies are not well-kept secrets.

The ILD will work with licensing associates at KU to manage intellectual property.  In addition, the ILD contributes to student training by sharing his/her extensive experiences in industry.

With over 20 company partners to-date, CEBC’s industry-focused approach is pushing research discoveries toward commercialization and providing unique training opportunities for students.This is an exceptional opportunity to expand industry partnerships for one of the most widely recognized academic catalysis centers.
