Industry recruitment forum at CEBC a success

Wednesday, June 1, 2016

In May, the CEBC organized an event titled the “Emerging Feedstocks Forum” as a way to enhance industry partnerships.  The event featured a keynote by CEBC Director Bala Subramaniam and several presentations from faculty members, including Franklin Tao, Timothy Jackson, James Blakemore and Marco Caricato. In addition, Dan Ginosar, Distinguished Staff Scientist, Idaho National Laboratory (INL), shared opportunities for scaling up CEBC’s catalytic advances at INL.

10 representatives from nine companies attended the forum.  Discussion at the event led two companies to sponsor projects at the CEBC and become dues-paying members.  Two other companies also expressed interest in sponsoring projects.
