Record number of new students, visiting scholars

Recent visitors to CEBC’s research buildings have found the labs and office areas nearly overflowing with new researchers. With the addition of three new faculty members, labs have been remodeled and made ready for extensive new research. CEBC has added ten graduate research assistants since August 2014. In addition, five visiting scholars are currently onboard, including researchers from Chinese universities working with the Chaudhari and Tao research groups. Thirteen undergraduate students — the largest group to date — are also gaining research experience at CEBC.
