Industry Focused, Industry Driven

CEBC is not an ordinary academic research program.  We actively seek out—and partner with—chemical companies.   In fact, more than 20 of the world's leading chemical companies have partnered with CEBC to date.

The reason?  The only way to design cleaner, safer, eco-friendly technologies for the chemical industry is for university researchers to work closely with businesses.  By forging these types of partnerships, we are better able to identify the most important technical challenges and opportunities.  Our business partners help us gain insights on commercial practices and drive projects toward commercialization. This industry-focused approach, uncommon in many university research programs, helps maximize the potential impact of our discoveries.

Chemical companies partner with CEBC because of our industry-focused, industry-driven research.  We listen to our partners' needs.  We learn from their expertise.  Most importantly, we look for cost-competitive, eco-friendly solutions to the obstacles that matter most.  Learn more about our industry partnership opportunities.
