Travel funding to Gordon Conference

Wednesday, May 16, 2018

Thanks to NSF funding, travel grants are available for ”young researchers” (graduate students, postdoctoral scientists and Assistant Professors) from the U.S. to attend the 2018 Green Chemistry Gordon Research Conference  to be held from July 29-Aug 3, 2018 near Barcelona, Spain [ ].  The conference should provide a good forum for learning about the latest advances/trends in the field and for networking with experts.  The criteria and process for applying are as follows:

Graduate student, postdoc, assistant professor or research scientist

U.S. Citizen or permanent resident with a Green Card

Currently working at a U.S. institution

To apply for the NSF Travel Grant, an applicant must first submit an online application with a poster abstract to the 2018 Green Chemistry GRC and e-mail the GRC Chair at indicating interest in receiving the NSF travel grant. Applicants who meet the above criteria are encouraged to apply for the travel grant early. Support is limited and available on a first-come first-served basis.  Final approval is contingent upon acceptance to attend the conference by the conference chair.
